The de facto standard in the United States is TRAC: Trustworthy Repositories Audit and Certification. ISO 16363:2012 is based on this document. The three sections of both standards detail requirements for: organizational sustainability, stability and commitment, adherence to the OAIS Reference Model for an Open Archival Information System, technical expertise, technical infrastructure and resource allocation.
