Distance Learning Course designation on transient student admission application
KBA-01719-Q8Y6
Question
If the lass I want to take has "No" listed in the Distance Learning Course column on my transient student admission application, does that mean I can't take the class online?
Answer
The Distance Learning Course designation is automatically set to "Yes" if you fill out the application through the online course catalog.

However, you can still take the course online if you have entered the course information on the form manually and the column is showing a "No". You will just need to be careful when registering with the host institution to make sure to select an online section of the course. You can usually find this information in the host school's course catalog.
