How do I use Version Check to update Aleph Client software?


Version Check is used in the LINCC client to download periodic software updates that provide

enhanced functionality to the LINCC LMS. The Version Check feature is turned on by default

when the client is installed and works in a semi-automated mode when LINCC client software

updates are available.


Checking for LINCC Software Updates

When a software update is available, the Version Check notification window will appear in the

LINCC client. The following steps are necessary to update the client.


To update LINCC client software through Version Check:


1.  Log on to the LINCC client.

2.  If updates are available, a message will appear indicating that a software update is

available. Click Yes to begin the update.
